Live Plant Policy
All of our plants are carefully grown and inspected before shipping to ensure they arrive healthy and ready for your aquarium. Our plants are grown fully submerged in aquarium conditions, making them well-adapted to life in your tank. Please note that natural variation in size, color, and shape is normal and should be expected with live plants.
Because our plants are grown in active aquarium environments, they may contain small snails or snail eggs. These are harmless and often beneficial, helping to break down waste and support a healthy ecosystem. By purchasing live plants, you acknowledge and accept the possibility of their presence.
It is normal for aquatic plants to experience some degree of “melting,” leaf loss, or stress when introduced to a new aquarium. This adjustment period can also be affected by temperature shock during shipping, especially in extreme weather conditions. Changes in water parameters, lighting, and overall tank conditions can all impact how plants transition. With proper care and stable conditions, new growth will typically appear as the plant acclimates.
We are not responsible for plant melt or damage caused by temperature shock during transit, changes in water conditions, lighting differences, or improper care after delivery. Success with live plants depends on maintaining stable parameters, proper lighting, and appropriate nutrients.
In the event that your plants arrive dead or in poor condition, please contact us within 2 hours of delivery with clear photos of the plants in their original packaging. Approved claims may qualify for a replacement or store credit at our discretion.
We are not responsible for shipping delays caused by carriers, weather conditions, or incorrect shipping information. Extreme temperatures during transit may impact plant condition.
By purchasing live plants, you acknowledge that proper care is required for success. If you have any questions, we are always happy to help ensure your plants and aquarium thrive.
