The Yellow Flake Rabbit Snail is a striking freshwater snail from the lakes of Sulawesi, Indonesia, known for its elongated spiral shell, iconic “rabbit-ear” facial tentacles, and distinctive yellow flake patterning across the shell. Similar to the Yellow Spot Rabbit Snail, the Yellow Flake variety features broader, more irregular yellow markings rather than small dots—giving it a bolder, more textured appearance in the aquarium. Slow-moving and calm, it brings personality and visual interest to planted tanks and shrimp setups without disturbing tank balance.
